The Queen’s Hall, Diamanten

The programme consists of a selection of Christoph Graupner's Christmas cantatas, performed in collaboration with Camerata Øresund.

Graupner is one of the forgotten stars of the Baroque. The concert's selection of his Christmas cantatas shows a transition from the Baroque to a more gallant style with an interesting coexistence of conservative and progressive elements.
